    I don't understand why first ladies fly all over the world pretending to be ambassadors like they were sec of state or something. What makes the person the potus porks so important that they fly all over the world. What if a gay dude became potus? Would his pump fly all over the world too? Maybe we could call him the first fairy.

    They do the White House PR work that:

    1. The President doesn't have time for
    2. is beneath the dignity of the President
    3. involves "girly" stuff
    4. involves people the President doesn't want to speak with

    Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama have law degrees from Yale and Harvard respectively. Hillary was a law professor. Laura Bush was a school teacher who got involved in a lot of educational work. It ain't like they are simple housewives on a shopping trip.
