#1 - TARP was under Bush/Paulsen. Obama bailed out the car manufacturers. #2 - If you loan out money and they pay it back, you have not earned revenue. You have gotten your own money back.
We're talking about policies. It was a Bush policy that Obama came in on the tail end. However you feel about it doesn't matter. It's a Bush Policy and therefore not part of the discussion of Obama policies. If you can't read, you shouldn't have a credit card. I thought we were talking about Obama. What were those specific cuts and specific revenues. Look, I know he doesn't have to disclose his plan but that's the problem, he never discloses what he wants to do. He jockeys around in the background. This is a discussion about policy and specificially, Obama's policies. What was obama's policy on debt? You can't discuss the efficacy of a policy based off of 3 to 1 cuts to revenue. :dis:
ohhhh, that hurt, insulted by an internet poster instead of insulting me, why don't you try to make a point
I never "blamed" TARP on Obama. Many experts feel TARP was necessary. An equal number disagree. I agree it comes back into the treasury, but it's not revenue. If you lose $100 on slots then play black jack and win $100 how much money have you made? Or in terms you may understand, Billy has 2 apples...
