I hope we wear our traditional uniform, but if not, purple jerseys. I hate the gold jersey, we wear them so seldom, my eye can't tell its an LSU team.
I agree. Let's go with tradition if we can. If we HAVE to wear a colored jersey, only then should we go with the gold. But I do wish we would wear the gold jersey once or twice in the regular season.

Sorry Rece, that combination would be a hideous, SWAC-like football uniform. We have one of the best-looking and most recognizable uniforms in the country, why should we change?
It doesn't matter who is home or away, because LSU wears white at home and on the road. I think we have the distinction of being the only team in college football that does that. So if Michigan were home, they would wear their blue unis and we would wear the whites. If we are home we would wear our whites and Michigan would still wear their blue ones, which personally I think is how it should be.
I like the old saying about being professional after a win or on a big occasion.. "Act like you've been here before"... When you start breaking out special jerseys and such for a bowl game, you are acting like its something that will never happen again (yes, its the rose, but all in all.. its just another bcs game)... Act like you've been there before.. act like you should be there and you will be returing very soon...
Our purple jersey is one of the worst uniforms in football. We look like a rag-tag high school team with passed down uniforms when we wear those.
