It never occurs to you NC .... Trump doesn’t have to be a government employee. He doesn’t have to kiss the ass of any handlers .... he’s no puppet like Obama was! If y’all get rid of him .... no problem as far as he is concerned. Not so for all your precious career politicians in the Democrat ranks .... and for most of the GOP aka Romney types as well.
But you know this isn't true. There is as much speculation around Biden and others in the Ukraine as the left had on Trump/Russia collusion. More and more comes out on Biden and the Dems in Ukraine that conflicts with what YOU and the Media keep trying to push. As I said many times, Trump is playing YOUR game and you cant fucking stand it.
I agree with some of this but also believe it works both ways. Trump has become very accustomed to controlling the news cycle and doing a pretty damn good job of it. He often makes inflammatory remarks just to be the "breaking news." He loves it and he can't stand it when they aren't talking about him. Trump is also more entangled with questionable contacts and conflicts of interests than any other President in modern history which provides ample fodder for the media on a daily basis. Lastly, in an effort to fill a 24 hour news cycle, every outlet, liberal and conservative, beat things into the ground with panels and analysis. agreed but you believe what he says about the media? does Trump obsess over the media?
when trump says the media is out to get him, yes i believe him. they are. like the russia story. for years the media was desperate for it to be something. it was never, at any point, anything. it was nothing. zero. and it was all they cared about, for years. nothing. trump is correct when he claims he is harder on russia than other presidents. for example, trump sent ukraine weapons meant to kill russians, when obama wouldnt. this ukraine thing is also nothing. zero. it wont amount to anything except letting dems have a way to compete against each other to claim they hate trump the most, and are therefore the most pious and noble. if they impeach it will just get trump re-elected.
It's actually not surprising at all because this is straight out of the Trump playbook: normalize the wrongdoing and it magically isn't wrongdoing anymore. At least this is how he plays you guys. You think that if he confesses publicly he must be innocent. And it's just a lie, plain and simple. He keeps repeating the same conspiracy theories that our own intel services have widely debunked. Further, the conservative media has debunked these stories. Think for a second what the President is doing: asking foreign governments to investigate things that our own intel agencies have already investigated and debunked. So you think you are winning when Trump thumbs his nose at the law?

nothing, but we will still hear about it for years. i think it speaks to how magnificently scandal-free trump has been that this shit is all they can come up with.
