Did you see Tom Bossert on ABC this weekend? He was a former Trump advisor from Homeland Security and he said that Trump was told on several occasions that the conspiracy theory about Biden and Ukraine had been widely debunked yet Trump and his minions continue to repeat it because they believe it is a political winner for them. This is particularly troubling and should be to you as well. I have arrived at my conclusion no different than the whistleblower did or that the ICIG, a Trump appointee no less, did. Trump's actions are detrimental to our National Security and he was using his office and, more so, Tax payer dollars to bribe a foreign leader into re-opening an investigation that had already been closed against his most threatening political foe.
There is ZERO evidence of that. The whistleblower provided zero documents or 1st hand knowledge. NONE.....
What doesn't make sense? Tom Bossert, a former Trump admin official with Homeland Security, said point blank this weekend that long before this phone call ever happened Trump knew that the Biden-Ukraine conspiracy theory had long since been debunked and that he was told this repeatedly. So, let's not pretend like he didn't know what he was doing here. Trump was trying to have a foreign power do his bidding and reopen an investigation that has long ago been closed. I've seen the video. At this point everyone has seen the video. It doesn't matter because it has all been widely debunked over and over again. You can stomp your foot all you want but there isn't anything to investigate here. At the time Biden made that statement the IMF, the Obama administration and most of our European allies in NATO knew that the prosecuter was corrupt and were threatening to withhold funding until the prosecutor was replaced. It's not like Biden went rogue and made a deal. Further, his son was never even under investigation. No he didn't. It's been investigated over and over. Your own preferred media outlets have said so. Now we have members of Trump's own administration who are acknowledging that this is nothing but a conspiracy theory.
Got any facts? SO Biden was lying on the video? You make no sense. Biden said it was True. How was it debunked? I have not ONCE mentioned Biden's son. NOT ONCE. I have only mentioned Biden threatened a foreign country by hanging money over their head to do our bidding. You know, the "claim" against Trump.... IT IS ON VIDEO. But you know, you have TDS and can't see straight.
So, I realize this is one of the Trump camp talking points that you've adopted here but let's be clear about a few things. A) The whistleblower is not required to provide a first hand knowledge or account of the wrongdoing alleged, that is why there is an ICIG who can determine the seriousness of the allegations. B) The ICIG is an appointee of none other than Donald J. Trump himself and, by any account, should be considered loyal to Trump. C) Said ICIG found the whistleblowers account to be credible and of "urgent concern" after conducting his own internal investigation. D) Trump, after pressure from the Republican Senate mounted, released the transcript of the call and his language on the call matches the whistleblower complaint. E) We still have not seen all the evidence. There are 7 more phone calls in question that were listed in the whistleblower complaint and the IG report. F) We are not even sure that there are not MORE whistleblower complaints out there. G) Lastly, we now know that Trump was having all of his calls with certain foreign leaders re-classified so that they would be kept out of any oversight so we'll need to see those calls too.
I just listed links to 4-5 different media outlets covering Mr. Bosserts comments yesterday. You can watch them for yourself. I'm not going into all of that with you. It's been widely debunked and even the most conservative media outlets acknowledge that it has been debunked. It's just the conspiracy theorists like you who still cling to this as some kind of savior for the fact that Trump actually did what you allege that Biden did. debunked.
Hunter and Joe's shenanigans may have been legal, but it was essentially legal corruption. I think what gets most people is the two-face double standard. If Trump Jr was on that board collecting 500K a year, with no more value than being the son of a President then that would be another thing the foaming at the mouth, rabid media barks about relentlessly. Trump may have alluded that he wanted - for no delay or withholding aid - a serious look at what illegal crap Biden might have been up to and/or what help Ukraine may have given to Hillary/Dems. (This looks right up your ally LSU123) Of particular interests to me is the insistence that Burisma is owned by Zloechevsky, who has been and still is alleged by the Main Stream Democrat Media and protectors of Obama to be a reason for why Biden was not referring to Burisma, and hence his son, but corruption in general. But Zloechevsky sold Burisma to Kolomoisky, another oligarch in 2011 ... long before all the investigations started. .... who ended up owning most of Ukraine's gas fields thanks to the Obama Adminstration. .... Ok. So it is OK for the whistler-blower's second hand knowledge to start an investigation into our president, but our own president, from going off the words of Joe, is not afforded the same level of authority to inquire into possible corruption? Further, with regards into Russian hacking of the DNC and finding that Crowdstrike might have information on that who is also in the Ukraine, our president should just not work to find it?
