I am gonna miss all of them. Every member of this class has made LSU fans proud. That being said, LaRon, Buster and Dwayne will probably be missed the most on the field next season.
I doubt Russell leaves, his draft position isn't very high with a few bigger name QBs leaving. He finished 3rd in the nation is Passing efficiency. Look for him (atleast I hope so) to come abck another year and shred the NCAA, and a likely chance for a National Title. Landry will be missed as a great defensive man, but LSU has deep talent to fill most spots. The biggest loss I think is going to be Bowe, after hsi eye surgery... he's caught passes he would have never even seen, and has been a key 1st down grabber for the offense. Wish we had him back for another year. When we blow out ND, LSU should have great preseason rankings for a National Title run next season.
That's was I was thinking.......that's why I asked the question cause I figured I must have missed something. :thumb:
I'll look them up, but OSU, Florida, I believe Iowa... i'll to look up the rtest, but there's a lot of good QBs leaving college. Now I didn't mean he wouldn't go high or at all, we all know he is without a doubt a QB that any team would kill to ahve with his size and arm strength... but I think, or better yet hope he sticks around and gives another year in college the go. I think another year will be what he needs, and it'll help LSU tremendously. The money will be there and probably more of it if he waits another year to go.
How could I forget Troy Smith from OSU?? But J Russell will be highly sought- baring a bad outing in the Sugar Bowl. First or second QB taken if he goes and, regretfully, I feel pretty sure he enters the draft.
Watch thou mouth... Honestly I don't see it. I know where you're coming from though. IF he does stay, look for LSU to be National Title bound in 07.
