Drive a flame retardant van, and keep your children and old people covered at all times... ask the barners about these recommendations... although they are b.s.
I didn't know so many people found us obnoxious. Normally visiting teams think we're really nice. I know it's a little different for Bama and LSU though. I haven't been to Baton Rouge but the last couple of times yall have come to auburn I met some good LSU fans and some bad ones. I think it's just mutual dislike from both sides. The only really bad things I've heard about from LSU are the whole bus rocking thing, which sort of disturbed me, and then I've heard from several people that car vandalism has happened to them. Anyways, I've never been treated badly by UGA fans but I do have a ton of friends up there so I guess it helps to be surrounded by a lot of georgia fans. I know that yall may have had a bad trip up there last time but thats because their fans hated gettin beat twice the year before. They were pissed off and they wanted revenge.
Well I am sure you'll find it quite comfortable, as we have a genuine stadium that holds 93,000 people, not a stadium with 4 inch seats to sit in :rofl::rofl: Tenn may be a QBBC this year again eh?
I must be honest, we went to the Auburn/LSU football game this past year and the fans were really not as bad as I have seen around baton rouge. They had some a$$e$ after the game, but alot of them were actually very "sportsmanshipish" about everything. I was shocked. Also, the campus is very nice and the "scenery " is VERY nice at Auburn... I still think the worst fans are the Florida Gater fans *pukes*
It has been many years since I was able to attend an SEC game, so I guess I am more than a little out of date. I went to AU, and never had a problem with anybody but bammers and ut. I have always been treated well and respond accordingly. It use to be that one could back a truck up to the left field fence at Plainsman Park. In an old lifted Chevy truck we would grill burgers in the bed and hand them to the opposing team's left fielder, if they took our ribbing in the good nature that it was offered. Most did, and most had no problem in taking burgers between innings. I loved visiting other teams tailgating, most of the alum were really great, it is when you start being around the undergraduates that you run into drunks who are jerks and classless. I met a lot of passionate fans, very few obnoxious ones. That is the same reason I visit your board, lots of passionate fans, very few obnoxious ones.
