    As least I don't have a tiny little head on my massive bod...

    I bought my helmets from helmethead2 on E-bay 3 years ago...
    ...he's a pretty good guy...
    ...it appears he is now selling refurbished helmets...
    ...mine are brand new...

    In terms of MINI helmets, I'll agree that the Ridell one looks more realistic, but in terms of ACTUAL helmet, Schutt HANDS DOWN!!!

    I have an official LSU helmet by Schutt and it looks awesome! I also have a 2003 team signed helmet by Riddell, and even though the Riddell IS a replica (and does NOT look thick and plush like the actual, but that's obvious) I don't like the face mask on the Riddell helmet--and I especially HATE the NEW Riddell concussion helmets....They look awful!! Makes guys look like they have "cone heads"...

    Schutt's full sized helmets look pretty good. I'm not crazy about the lineman facemasks, I prefer the QB, WR, RB type facemasks. The problem with the Schutt mini helmets is that they didn't get the porportions right. The facemask looks smushed in. I think the Riddell mini helmets look more like the quarterback helmets you always see.

    BTW, I completely agree that the new "revolution" riddell helmets are the worst looking things ever. the facemasks look mangled and they aren't very pleasing to the eye.
