Sounds like grade problems. WHy else would someone go to a community college? If it were playing time, he'd go to I-AA and not have to sit. But sounds like he's doing it to get his grades in order.
1- No offense, but why would *any* current juniors (aside from Andy Whitworth) leave after this season? Who excelled well enough to think, "Yeah, now's the time to make the move" ? 2-Again, why would any players transfer now? If anything, guys who may have been inclined to transfer under Saban will give Miles a chance. Why? I'll use JV as an example (not that he would transfer, which he's said he "never would"). JV looked set coming into the season, lost his job (rightfully) to his roommate and, undoubtedly, is disappointed. Miles gives him a totally clean slate, even moreso than he would have had with Nick. Any player who thinks he was unfairly buried on the depth chart now has a chance to strap in on tight and fight for a starting job under a new coaching staff. Also, Les isn't (as far as we now know) going to introduce radically different schemes offensively or defensively. It's not like LSU was a fun and gun team and the new coach is gonna switch to the wishbone or anything, so there's no need for grief on the player's behalf over what the coaches scheme for them on both sides of the ball.
a little off topic, but speaking of juniors leaving early, i fully expect Broussard to leave after next season, so that will be broussard, addai and carey all gone in a year, leaving just vincent to carry the load.. we are getting the robinson kid, hope rj jackson commits too..
On the subject of Green, anyone else get the feeling that Green was a little bitter about Saban leaving through his comments about Miles not changing anything or am I reading too much into that quote?
