    True, I didn't think about that. We are very prosperous. I guess I will vote for him after all.

    Glad I was able to sway your vote. Too many are joining the godless abortionist leeches and I was honestly afraid you might go that route as well.

    This is a great post, you are right, if you dont vote dont complain. Also, my other point is that people are grossly uninformed. Thats a shame,because they get their talking points form Faux News, CNN and MSNBC, but this is the business we chose. All of the media is slanted from one spectrum to the next, no matter what network it is. Its really disgusting, people should take the time to really research the issues that are really important to them. So i dont know if its worst to vote and be uniformed or to not to vote and be informed.

    I agree, it's really up to the voter to get as much information, then sift thru the slanting, and try and find the truth.

    so this brings up the question, which is worse? being uninformed, or being misinformed?

    i have a friend from high school that used to never watch the news or read the newspaper. and i mean even well into her adult years was like this. she rarely had a clue of what the issues were, let alone any information on them. but then, she started getting following what was going on, but only from one very slanted source and that is the only source still. if she even hears any other opinion or side of an issue she discounts it because it doesnt fit the very narrow ideological viewpoint she is used to.

    honestly, i liked her better when she was uninformed.

    i think its a double-edge sword, the with only one advantage for being uninformed. You have the potential to mold that person to your viewpoint, so that could be bad or good depending on your viewpoint of the issue. Being misinformed is the worst because for the most part you cant get through to this type of person, unless they are open-minded. Having the facts always helps in any situation.

    i pretty much agree. that is why i liked her better before. i tried to help her understand candidates and issues that were being voted on by giving her all sides, even the sides i didnt agree with. just so that she would know what the hell she was voting on.

    but now..... you cant even have a discussion with her. i mean, if someone truely looks at an issue, or candidate, and bases their opinion on having looked at the facts and coming to a conclusion of which side fits their beliefs, that is one thing. i can argue with a person that has a different view point as long as they have looked at the whole issue. but when a person is jut parroting back one very narrow ideology without truely understanding the issue or even looking at it, that drives me crazy. and that is all she does now. she doesnt even want to hear other viewpoints.

    what you need to do is;
    grab her by the collar and say " Look b!tch, Im tired of playing with your azz, I know you got some sense in that head of yours, so you better give it up smooth or I am going to break my foot off in your narrow-minded azz":hihi:

    see how she reacts to that
