When I think of those guys, and yes, it may be before your time, I think of Joe Labruzzo (Cutoff), Don Schwab (Thibodeaux), Ronnie Estay (Larose). OK I admitt I had to google these guys, but I thought they were from down in that area. All from the 60's. Estay made all america first team about 1971, played in the CFL because he was on the light side for the d-line, and according to Dandy Don, he still coaches up in Canada. Maybe somebody else remembers players from the area?
