Re: Tigers Have Something to Prove hey look at me, i bought a website template now i'm a real reporter.
Re: Tigers Have Something to Prove I enjoyed the article. They are getting better each time. I hated the RP article. One thing I noticed, in the last paragraph, you wrote: "Our defense has made tremendous strides the past three weeks." I think it should read: "LSU's defense has made tremendous strides the past three weeks." to keep with the format of the rest of the article.
Re: Tigers Have Something to Prove Okay, so lemme play Devil's advocate for a moment ........ is Auburn's defense, widely regarded as one of the top three in the SEC (and one with depth) , one of those Defenses that you really want to face when all you're trying to do is just "get it together?" IMHO, the AU D will "hang" with LSU for four complete quarters and I believe they'll eventually be in position to take control in the latter stages of the game. But in order to do it, they'll need their offense to step up, control some clock, and make a statement that they are ready against a "real" defense. Sound familiar? It should. IMO, this is one of the storylines that has been missing in the media pub that has rolled out this week. These two teams are more alike than different. Both are charactertized by strong defenses that have been trying to find their identities. Both are close to doing that ....... and both are waiting for a game like this one to engineer a breakthrough. Both teams have strong ST units, and have the capability to flip the field at any juncture of the game. Sky is a gamebreaker, and AU's kicking game is solid in nearly all areas. I like AU's receivers versus the LSU corners ......, and I like LSU's Running Backs against AU's linebackers. I like AU's team discipline and turnover ratio ....., and I like LSU's team speed and their ability to feed off of a boistrous crowd. I like Auburn's Al Borges....., and I like LSU's Jimbo Fisher I like this rivalry :thumb: I like Auburn and six-and-a-half
Re: Tigers Have Something to Prove LSU is the Top 1 loss team right now... No one else in the country thinks that is true.. you DAMN RIGHT we got something to prove
Re: Tigers Have Something to Prove I like that you didn't get to play for the title last year! lol nah, just kidding... I think this will be closer than we all think too
