I say LSU. I TOTALLY disagree about seeing the field earlier at LSU though. I still say Vince Young is a terrible QB, just another case of someone ESPN overhyped to make people believe he is awesome (can you say Vick?). If you were the top QB, why wouldn't you want to go to LSU? Take out the home school bias, LSU is loaded at RB, loaded at OL, they have a plethora of talent at WR, their TE's are solid, they have one of the best OC's in the nation, an offensive minded head coach, and they have the best fans in the nation. Why wouldn't you want to come to LSU if you are a QB, regardless of who is on the team now?
You gotta think that if he & his family are thinking long term then it's LSU! . If he's as big a success as he thinks he will be then he would be set for life (endorsements, business, etc.) with THE :champs: in La. for YEARS to come. The $$ benefit of being a Tiger (especially a :crystal: Tiger) (this of course meaning he leads the team to the Rose Bowl victory in a storybook scenario) would be BIG! Best chance for him to be on a NC team is LSU. But I have no idea where the kid is gonna go. I have said all along it will be TX, but now I am thoroughly confused as to what his intentions are.
But guys... wouldn't it shock the world if he pulled his commitment to UT only to recommit ? I won't be sold till Miles get the LOI.
That would be shocking if he recommits to UT, but after what Bennett said yesterday about Perrilloux recruiting HIM to come to LSU, i think Perrilloux to LSU is looking better and better by the minute....
