I was watching in my living room with my wife and sister. We hugged and jumped around screaming for a while.
I was in Cancun Mexico on my Senior trip. About 100 of us watching in the Oasis hotel bar. The rest of the week everyone in Cancun would chant LSU LSU LSU when they seen us running around in our Tiger hats and stuff.
I was at AstroWorld at a family event I could not get out of. When I got back to the hotel I put on espn just as they showed the replay at the top of the hour. It was a good thing that I was on the first floor.
I was in a cramped room of a church following my best friends wedding. The entire bridal party was there watching on a 13 in color tv. I actually called the shot as WM was walking to the plate. My friends wedding anniversary will forever be linked with that game.
I was working a flight at the Baton Rouge Airport. I was watching with about 25-30 people in the bar and it was 10 minutes til departure when Lanier struck out. I figured it was over. I went to the podium and made a final call then the bar exploded. A guy on the flight came running out to get on the plane and he said we hit a homerun. Got home later and watched it on tape. Funny thing is I hadn't counted on the game lasting so long and had it at the end of another game. The tape runs out after the 1st replay...but I got it for all eternity. Neat thing is my son watches it now and gets fired up.
Navarre Florida getting ready to go to work and trying to take as much time as possible. Early in the game I figured I would probably be in on time. I was late. My grandfather and I always talked about the CWS games and had plans to make the trip one year. We never got around to it but I will make the trip one year and hope that he's watching from above.
Watching the game in an Atlanta area sports bar with a female friend who happens to be a Miami grad. Still one of the top 5 moments in my life.
This was one of the greatest moments of my life. I'm sitting on the edge of my couch, worried as hell and hoping he wouldn't strike out. When he hit it, I jumped off the couch and my head hit the ceiling, no joke. It's only 8 foot ceilings.
