Where is Xavier Carter's speed?

    I agree. Three different people had angles on him and he went from 0 to blazing very quickly. Somebody needs to post that video so this guy can see the x man roll out!

    You're probably right. Perhaps his speed takes time to kick in? I dunno....

    But this is also his first year. He'll be fine.

    It's a big step up from high school to the SEC. When he learns the system and gets comfortable in the game he will spend less time thinking about what he should do and more time just getting it done. Indecision makes even the fastest player appear slow. Carter will do great things before he leaves LSU, he is not just a track star but he is still very very young.

    While on the subject about jumping from high school to the SEC, Early Doucet looked great last night. Him and Xavier were ranked one and two by all recruiting services. Some had Xavier first, some had Early first. Early made two really good receptions last night.

    Just like X, Early is still learning and will only get better. Davis, Bowe, X and Early with another year under their belt.......WOW. Then there is still Amp, Green and even Carey if he plays any WR next year. It should be fun to watch this loaded WR group next year.
