He might but NO team should not be competitive without 1 person. Please, You guys are making excuses for a team that can't compete and a 35 point swing to a team that has lost 5 out of 6 games in USC that is truely sad btw its not like they played d, they just stood around and watched USC make layups I saw the gaem on tv
There is no way we would be talking about any of his had Lloreda not gotten hurt. This team would have possibly challenged for the western division, especially had they been able to beat MSU the 2nd time around with a healthy Lloreda. I think LSU would have gone at least 11-5 in the conference and a 21-6 record overall, a top 20 ranking and a #4 seed in the NCAA tourney. It's not that it's one player gettin hurt, it's the fact that its your leadership and go to guy, not to mention a big time banger in the paint. That kinda player is one you cannot afford to lose. We could have lost any other player on this team and not suffered nearly as much.
how how can anyone not see this? are people really that naive or just blinded by emotions? DOesn't mean I think brady is the answer but you cannot ignore the fact the soul of this team was ripped out when Jaime left. So the games before today when they got blown out i can excuse. today, though with time to heal, i think raises a red flag to the administration. Before today, i dont think they question it. SD, dude, I dont mean to sling mud your way, but sometimes your arguments just seem way offbase. you state you arent against brady or the team yet you contradict yourself in the same post over and over. facts are facts and you cant dispute what this team was with lloreda....people cannot just overlook that to bash brady.
I thought you wanted the opinions of the guys who saw it on t.v., because radio doesn't do it justice. I don't mean to trash you personally, and don't take it personal, but you obviously do not like John Brady and can't wait for him to go out the door. Don't act like you have any support for him if you don't. This is a very young team, just that. They have tremendous talent that might or might not come out next year. If they don't improve next year, then Brady might need to go. He might need to go this year, but I believe that when Skip and Emmert make that decision, I will agree with it. Until then I am not going to fill the airwaves, (or internetwaves), with the kind of Brady bashing you seem to portray. Nothing personal about you, just notice you are always to first to jump on him.
I never said I supported him or I didn't I did want opinions about the game from the those who saw it but that isn't what you said on your post, here is what you said: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- quote You are so full of it if you say, "I have nothing against Brady". Look at the title of your thread. As a matter of fact look at any thread that has anything to do with a ball going through a hole. It is your chance to jump on his back. Trash Brady all you want, but at least be man enough to say you do it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone is attacking me from the title of my thread, all that was meant by this is to get the Pro Brady people to respond to this teams performance on tv and then everything blows up. If you read my 1st post on here I didn't trash Brady, All I did was respond to Tiger1958 posts and I get attacked for what I said
btw, I'm sorry that this has happened, I wish things were different and I'm glad there is nothing personel Peace be with you always, I'm turning to the liter side LOL, I mean lighter
I heard somebody mention Tom Izzo's name at the baseball game last Sunday. It wouldn't be such a longshot, either, considering that he and Saban are good friends. For the right amount of money, and Skip's promise of the necessary resources to build a winner, he could be brought down here. And I'm only guessing, but I think Tom Izzo is a name you could get excited about...I know I could.
Doesn't this whole situation (losing a key player) sound very similar to last years nose dive of the football team? Didn't we go through the same thing after Damien James just mysteriously left the team in the middle of the season and the defense was never the same and we lost most of our games after he left. Look at what that adversity did to the team. We now have a National Championship trophy, one year removed from that almost disastrous season. I am sure many people were thinking the same thoughts about Saban as they are about Brady now. I really think next year will be Brady's breakout season, with all the freshman talent he has on the team.
i am still a strong brady supporter. i will stop being a brady supporter if the team doesnt make noise in the tournament next year.
We also lost our starting qb and I disagree with your post. We had much more depth in football than what we have on this basketball team. Our football team could score also, even without our starting qb. This sounds more like the Dinardo era of football if you ask me
