To be fair though, klansmen and nazi’s may have been a democrat thing back in the day, but if you heard a nazi or a klansman, or a white supremacist was running for office and you didn’t know what party they belonged to, what would your guess be today?
No different than if there was a Muslim terrorist attack, we already know the "party". Political parties aren't a selection committee. Anyone and everyone can join whatever they so choose. I think you would agree what Mulsims overall view on women and life does not fall inline with the Democrats, yet, which side are they on in America?
To add, the Democrats really do a fine job of turning people off. Including those whose ideals kind of fall in the line with their own. The Muslim thing is especially troubling. Like we are not supposed to link Islam with terrorism. And while it’s true that they don’t have a monopoly on it, if there is an act of terror anywhere in the world today, what do you think, 75 percent chance it was done by a Muslim? If it is my responsibility as a white person to feel this guilt for having white privilege and to hold other white people accountable for their actions, shouldn’t everyone else do the same? Shouldn’t more Muslims be out in the streets protesting the violence by their own? Should we be having more members in the black and Latino communities do more community outreach with the police in their neighborhoods? That’s actually happening here in my home town and it’s nice to see. The democrats, and maybe this is just a hell of propaganda job by the right, have got to stop with the outrage only. Solutions must be made. And neither party really does a good job of that.
I have a theory. Lack of faith and belief in God. That is why you see many on the left, which we can all agree most dont believe in religion/God, are now always searching for some type of defined meaning. When you have faith, love, and God in your life, you dont need to spend your day worrying about the bullshit. Just my 2 cents. Region is a separate issue and religion is an invention of man. Man has many flaws, however I do choose to believe in a higher being. I believe being apart of a community with these same values is key to life. I also believe many on the left are missing this in their life. (not all) I will add, there are extremist on the right, but I think its safe to say you dont see the same level of outrage and protesting from us. We generally just dont give a shit. How long before the likes of you start trying kick guys like me out of this site like the left is kicking out conservatives from even eating at a restaurant or going to movie. Easy answer. Government is not just politucs for the democrats it's a religion. Also the enviromental movement along with the global warming gang and PETA look at the earth as Ghia a God like entity. They see man as an enemy of the earth in essence we dont belong here, of course with the exception of them. Those are their gods.
