Pete holds the scoring record for sophomores, juniors and for seniors. The scoring average record for a freshman is held by Chris Jackson of LSU (No, not the kicker) He averaged something like 30.1 or so points per game as a freshman.

Right, freshman eligibility didn't happen until 1973.
