Won't be by Thursday...Hot here in Miami also but suppose to be getting cold tonight or tomorrow or something. Luckily my hotel had electricity before I checked in!

hey you and the wife want to come with me and my friend to the cavs/Magic game? I think we have two extra tickets?

was pretty nasty looking this morning. cloudy, lots of wind and some rain.
this evening, it's kinda breezy and a little chilly. (compared to mid 80s yesterday)

hey I heard we're suppose to cool down...40 degrees or so by Thurs am here just north of hell

Hey did y'all have powere issues there in Miami w/ the nuclear grid blowing? We lost power up and down this coast in sporadic locations for the better part of the day, guess we all share the same grid....it was a mess!

Hey did y'all have powere issues there in Miami w/ the nuclear grid blowing? We lost power up and down this coast in sporadic locations for the better part of the day, guess we all share the same grid....it was a mess!

It was a mess! I heard there were reports of outages all the way to jacksonville! Luckily I got to my hotel around 4 and the electricity had just gotten back on. Reports of over 3.5 million people affected. Crazy stuff! And it is still all over the news!

Yea, it got pretty nasty around here for a while...had about 5000 ppl or so lost power. (Not that much taking into consideration Duval county has over 1 Mil)...Mostly a lot of rain, Ga got it a lot worse. But honestly OT, we get that many ppl losing power during the Noreasterns we get here from time. We dearly needed the rain BTW. Today...at 11:30 AM...its 49 and windy. Yesterday it was almost 80.

Yes I guess it was worse in SOuth Florida (most of Miami Dade was out) and I hear that orlando was pretty bad also. Still that is a pretty major malfunction for one little part malfunction here in Miami, but it did shut down the two nuclear reactors. Just amazing how much things are really linked. A little scary!
