    going on 18 hours or so without rain
    might be a record for the month

    still under flash flood watch until Tuesday though.

    devastating snowstorm hit new york. went to a bar to watch the saints game, went in with a dusting of snoe on the ground, came out with like a foot on the ground. i was drunk so i threw a snowball at a businessman, then shaved my head.

    At my parents in western Maryland. Got over two feet of snow yesterday. Still digging out.

    30 degrees (wind chill is 16)

    30-40 mph north winds with gust up tp 50 mph

    frozen precipitation right now, with 1/2 inch to an inch of that possible (luckily right now it is sleet and not ice)

    later precip changing over to snow and probably a couple of inches of snow this afternoon evening.

    temperatures dropping through the day.




    ho ho ho and well, you know the rest!


    edit: now they are saying 4-8 inches. blah!

    about the same for WF, except that it is snowing right now. We are in Dallas, but heading back to WF for Santa. Can't wait to drive through the ice and snow later today. It's gonna be a slow trip.

    be careful. if its just sleet and snow you should be ok if you take it easy. ice, well, be very careful!
