That is correct, though we have about a 30% chance of thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. I'll take it--beats 0% chance.
We get afternoon rains every day from the beginning of June until pretty much the end of summer. Helps a little since it's usually very overcast in the afternoons but still hot as all get out.
