I would be so frustrated if it was only in the 70's this time of year. So much more outdoors fun now here that we've been getting 90's for the past couple weeks.

In August though, can we trade? :)

78 and overcast now. been in the mid-80's and partly cloudy the past couple of days, with some nice showers a couple of days ago. not bad at all.

    no gators around here tho.

The weather is very July-like here right now. And July in North Texas isn't pleasant. In fact, I can't wait to hit South Louisiana on June 7--for some relief from the heat and humidity (of all things.)

92 degrees with 70% humidity is better than 100 degrees with 70% humidity.

Just talked to our guy at our Corpus store. Sky was looking pretty scary, but nothing happening yet.

Unless you live right on the water, Cat One hurricanes aren't that bad. I won't even evacuate unless it's at least a Cat 3 (or I lived next to a Corp of Engineers designed levy).

I loves me a good Hurricane party. Getting drunk sitting outside waiting for the trees to start bending then head for the beach!

Legend has it from someone close :)shock:) that some 15 to 20 years back there was a tsunami warning in this area and for the most part folks headed to the beach to check it out. Some things you regret not being a part of. :(

I just gave Stacey a stat...

Exactly. Cat 1 is party time without having to go to work.
