What's your all time favorite movie?

    Never seen 'em, but I'm not mystified that some people could find them appealing. Not every genre is appreciated by everyone.

    Exactly. As for me, LOTR and Harry Potter type stuff doesn't appeal to me, thus my original comment.

    Just saw tree of life. Pretty good movie, not sure why people were bashing it. Prob my fav film of the year!!

    R U Serious? Kevin Costner is at best a mediocre actor. The saving grace in that movie was Dennis Hopper's performance as "The Deacon".

    eta: WW was a flop for a reason - it was a terrible movie.

    It was a preposterous scenario and it is true that Kevin Costner is a really bad actor. But the film was really well-made and if you view it as high camp it works far better than as a lame drama. Dennis Hopper knew this, which was why he upstaged everyone in the movie.

    That movie was sh*t. From the entire notion of the story, to Kevin Costner's Tom Hanks-like acting ability, to the stupid, hand and foot webbing and gills he evolved. :hihi:
