The way of the gun Tombstone Outlaw Josey Wales Big Jake Midway The boys in Company C Fast times at Ridgemont High Better off Dead (one of the most bad ass 67/68 camaro ss at the end, oh how I want that car) Those are just a few.
Any scary movie that is half way realistic like paranormal activity (well the first one was good) notebook dirty dancing
Each time I watched the LOTR movies, I liked them less and less. Too many unnecessary story changes, bad casting, and Peter Jackson's cheeseball directing has made it annoying to watch. As for great movies... hmm... Godfather I, II (I like III, but its not on this list.) The Hunt for Red October Field of Dreams Dances with Wolves Star Wars IV, V, VI (Its too bad that the Ewoks did not stay Wookies, as they were supposed to) The Dark Knight Full Metal Jacket Dead Poets Society I don't feel like typing more...
The extended versions are far better. They cut out a lot to make them shorter for the big screen, but it made them choppy. It would take a 52-hour film to get in the entire dialog of the book.
groundhog day is one my favorites for sure. this year i saw a movie called "submarine" which was terrific.
Groundhog Day is great... "In 2006, the film was added to the United States National Film Registry as being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.""
