I wish people would quit saying that. I know he was not able to contribute to the running game beyond the early going. However, saying that gives him absolutely no credit for his blocking throughout the game and he certainly deserves it.
You know Joe wants to play. This guy is definitely a competitor. He's a senior with 3, possibly 4 games left in his college career. It's time for the seniors to lay it all on the line now.
I am sure Addai would understand that sidelining him how is an attempt to preserve him for the big games like SECCG and the Bowl game where the team does seriously need him. No point in aggravating his injury now so that he is subpar or miss the big games. ________ Loratab rehab forums
You could tell him that if he rested then he could have one or two last games, and big ones at that, where he could play the majority of the game. If he continues to re-tweak his ankle, this could go on beyond the bowl game, or least through the championship game, if we make it that far.

On the other hand, having opponents not knowing if he is playing does alter their preparations.
"an effort"? Makes it sound like he tried but failed. How about the QB draw at the beginning of the 4th.. JA took out two Bama defenders on that play.
bottom line: the coaches, JA and the trainers will probably decide about his Play time. this is big time div 1 A sports folks, it ain't like they draw straws. There's a few ways it can go, 1. he can play 100% 2. he can play limited ( not 100% ) :dis: 3. he plays but cant play long ( he feels something, trainers confirm ) 4 he cant play ( not ready yet ) I suppose they could consult a medium or someone on tiger forums but I'm kinda doubtin it. :dis:
