    that is because the BBC actually made the series. When Discover got the US rights they replaced David Attenburough (sp) voice over with Sigourney

    Caught any of the Wild Pacific series?

    It's pretty cool, and set up just like Planet Earth. I have all the episodes recorded on my DVR.

    This will be my first purchase as well, followed immediately by Dark Knight.

    I have the series on DVD, and is is narrated by Sigorney Weaver so I would guess the blu ray is too. I always liked David Attenborough, but didn’t like Blue Planet as much. The Wild Pacific is done by Mike Rowe I think, but I only saw a commercial or two and set it to record on my DVR; haven’t had a chance to watch yet.

    sure have. saw part of like 2 or 3 episodes but not one in completion. i need to rerecord it. im sure it will be on many times. still doesnt beat planet earth but that would be almost impossible to do.

    I have not seen the Planet Earth thing is it really that good???

    well im not one to be all impressed with visuals. went to smoky mtns wasnt all that impressed even though everyone else was. same with grand canyon, etc. blah, a big crack in a rock.


    the stuff in this series is pretty amazing. take it from the hard to impress ahole.
