Sent my wife and 10yr old daughter to New York this week so Gabrielle could go with her old dance team to get a lesson from the Rockettes.

So I decided to make one of my 4yr old daughter's favorites because she misses them. Slow cooked some baby backs for 6 hours. I put them on the table and went to go clean up the messes and 3/4 of the huge rack of ribs was gone. I asked her if she wanted to eat the bones too and she said "Are you Joking" I couldn't believe it but was proud.

As a proud father I take pleasure in sharing that her 3 favorite foods are Ribs, Red Beans and Rice, and Boiled Crawfish.

Hmmm...last night? About 4 glasses of pinot grigio at a friend's happy hour.

Filet mignon, butternut squash, baked potato and spinach. My neighbors adopted me while my husband was playing poker.

I bought a pack of 2 bacon wrapped filets at Wal Mart, for about $6. They are small, but tasty. I broiled mine on my gas grill, max high heat for 12 min. per side, and they were well worth the money. I would say you can throw them in the oven on Broil, same 12 min. per side. Pretty quick, good, easy, cheap deal. I hear they are at Sam's also, but I don't have a card there.
