Obviously beating Bama is the only important thing going on today. Geaux Tigers! But I got to thinking about Joe's Heisman chances. Hypothetically, which would be better for Joe's Heisman resume? 12-20 145 yards 1TD 1INT in a Tigers win? Or 28-36 354 yards 3TD 0INT in a Tiger loss?
While I understand the point of your question, I don’t see how he can have the first set of stats and the Tigers win. Overall I agree with @ParadiseiNC winning is more important to Joe’s chances. I’m sure he would happily give the Heisman up for a win and NC.
"While I understand the point of your question, I don’t see how he can have the first set of stats and the Tigers win." Mostly agree with you but, stranger things have happened....
Last time an LSU player was a front-runner for a Heisman we won the National Championship And that mofo was the guy that CaCa’s brother (my paw) knocked out twice in the ‘55 HS playoffs tween Istrouma and New Iberia HS ... His name was Billy Cannon ... recently passed away ... His Spirit watches today and he says: Sixty years is a Long time ... It’s about time
Last time an LSU player was a front runner for the Heisman Bama held him to 32 yards and we lost 3 in a row.
