Which would explain why you're running a close race with BitterND for least informed poster on TF.com.

It's part of football, if it happens, I'll get over it, and support the next guy.

And personally, could care less if he ends up regretting it. That's on him, not me.

I think that Les is smarter than to repeat the mistake of his predecessor. For God's sake, look where he ended up! Who on earth would risk such an unimaginable fate?

I guess you didnt do a search, did you?

Many fans and LSU officials knew the risk before hiring him. I wouldnt hate the guy because he might have a dream of coaching Michigan. Not unusual at all. However, I think Les knows the risks involved by going to UM as well. Expectations are high and the fans are not all that high on him in the 1st place. I am sure he would regret it but LSU is a differnet program these days and would have no problem in attracting other high profile coaches if need be.

It is definitely you. Cry me a river.

Look, these coaches are professionals in a business and they do what's best for themelves all of the time. They can't afford to be more loyal to a school than to their careers. The same school will fire them in a heartbeat for a dozen different reasons or no reason at all. Coaches will come and coaches will go, that's just the way it is. Get used to it.

Les is no different than any other coach. When he leaves (and they all leave, even Charlie Mac) we'll go out and get another good coach. We can pull the best available.

    2. LSU will play USC in the BCS championship game
Tigers coach Les Miles will get his wish with a date against the Trojans in the Jan. 7 BCS National Championship Game in the Louisiana Superdome. After USC easily defeats the Tigers in front of LSU's home crowd, Miles will leave to become head coach at Michigan, replacing Lloyd Carr, who will retire after winning the Rose Bowl (and, of course, losing to Ohio State).

And for the record I like Les Miles. I love the way he called out USC this year. NO way the Trojans defeat LSU in New Orleans. Is it true that Miles has an option to get out his contract if Michigan and only Michigan offers him the job?
