What would have happened if LSU went 12-0?

If we went undefeated we would play in the Orange Bowl against USC. Why? Because that was the match up the media thought should have been
in the NC game last year. USC got a free pass all year because the media felt they were cheated last year. If you recall, no one thought Oklahoma deserved to be in the NC game even though they were ranked #1 in the BCS after losing to K-State in the Big 12 Championship. No one complained that LSU made the Sugar last year, even though it was USC that we bumped out. So, the media would have gotten the game they really wanted last year. :thumb:

As close as Auburn was to OU in the media polls late this year, and the fact that we would prolly be number 1 in a couple computer polls....I think we would be in above OU for sure. Then I could watch Marcus Spears break Fat Leinarts face in half.....now that would be a Christmas present.

LSU's SOS is actually worse than Auburn's using last year's BCS formula for SOS.

So I think we would have been in the exact same position as Auburn.

What a dumbazz post ... so out-of-character for you

An undefeated Defending NC coached by Nick Saban would have displaced Oklahoma ... who they had beaten last year ...

    ~A~N~D~ ~G~I~V~E~N~ ~C~O~L~L~E~G~E~ ~F~B~ ~I~T~Z~

~D~R~E~A~M~ ~G~A~M~E~ ... USC VS LSU ... The coaches and pollsters would have made this happen ... Really ... how naive can some folks be ...

So that even the President of the fuggin' United States of America ... who wanted them to play on the South Lawn and settle it ... and everyone else would know

    ~W~H~O~ ~W~A~S~ ~T~H~E~ ~B~E~S~T~

OU would get another well-deserved Sugar crack ... back to the scene of the crime :hihi: ... AU started too high (#15 or whatever) ... no sympathy for CTT and his scumbags ...

No tolerance for stupid posts either ... go detract my rep points and paint me red ... DIALIGF :hihi:

There is little chance that OU would be ahead of LSU this year with this year's system if LSU had gone undefeated. LSU would be challenging USC for #1. THAT would be the debate if there was one.

LSU would have been closer to OU than Auburn ended up, but not past them.

    Hello, Cap'n Obvious

Anybody with common sense can see that ... I really love how Auburn's catching it ... :hihi:

I'd like to see LSU get USC right now ... IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF LSU was 12-0 it would be a great game ...

LSU still having a speed and strength edge over USC and better late season QB play from Randall

From a poll standpoint, this season did not even need to be played. The preseason #1 will meet the preseason #2 and everyone and everything else be damned - you never had a shot, you never controlled your own destiny...

The system has been changed to aid one team and one team only - where is the public outcry? - where are the journalists with any balls? - the new system accomplishes one thing for one team. How can Auburn's #9 SOS be shrugged off by so many intelligent football fans and analysts (like Auburn or not, this sucks for everyone outside of L.A.)

An equally good question is what if LSU was in Auburn's position? How would ya'll feel? And yes Auburn has their ramah's who post on message boards. I bet ya'll would love to see some Auburn fan like him spewing his venom at you and happy your were getting screwed.
