Right on all counts. The bailouts are largely socialism that will be VERY difficult to undo - just like the FDR welfare state we're still strapped to and Obama will reinforce and entrench. I'm very disappointed that our "leaders" have decided to reward irresponsible behavior in business and the populace by making responsible behavior less lucrative. It took a world war last time. If we go much farther it'll take something as drastic to pull us out again. i'm hopeful, though, that some sanity and anti-autocratic fervor will prevail and gridlock via fillibuster will protect us all.
