Mack is nowhere close to looking for a job. If Texas wins the bowl game, that's an 11-2 season and top four finish. Nothing to be ashamed of. Yes, they have great talent, but even teams with great talent lose games. Everyone seems to be all over Michigan and they're potentially going to have the exact same record as Texas.
There's a huge difference in Nebraska - who went 7-7 last season and 9-3 this season, finishing outside of the top 20 - and Texas, who will likely finish 11-2 for two consecutive seasons and finish in the top five.
UT has lost every big game it has been in.... they have been ranked very high with very few results....sorry if ther was ever an over rated team it is TEXAS
it's only a big game when Texas loses. Texas beat Kansas State last year in Manhattan, and KSU finished a top five team. Texas beat Nebraska this year when Nebraska was a top 10 team. Texas beat CU in 2001 and they finished in the top 10. Last year, when Texas played LSU, a lot of Tiger fans said it was a big game... before. With Texas, the game is only big when they lose... it's absurd, but I've seen it enough to know. and also, if Texas is so overrated, how do they finish most seasons ranked where they started in the preseason? It seems like people rate them accurately. also, four straight losses to a rival - especially one as prominent as OU is right now - isn't that uncommon.
TU? now that's mature. regardless, if a team that sucks manages to get in the top 10/top 5 on a yearly basis and wins as many games as this one has, I hope we suck every year the rest of my life.
I live in TX, I went to a Big 12 university. I can Call TU TU if I want. They are not the University of Texas...deal with it
