Honestly, I'm not gonna be happy unless we score 60+, and they score 17 or less. Miles has to prove something here. This can not just be a let's get a W game, because quite honestly, if we don't get a W, Miles will not be welcome back in the state.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a big win is the only thing that can keep us in the top 8. Miles should use this as an oppritunity to really open up the offense. This weekend and next are practice for Florida.
Say what you want, this is not the same MSU team that you played last year. We aren't practice for anybody. Ask Georgia. Yeah, they won and I expect ya'll will win too. But, we aren't gonna be your whipin boy as some of you think. LSU may come in with a chip on their shoulder. But, as they say, proof is in the pudding. LSU probably wins, but just remember, Florida thought they were going to win last year also. I hope ya'll come in thinking all you have to do is show up and MSU will give in. If that is the case, MSU is gonna hit you right in the mouth. Then, we'll see what LSU is made of.
No disrespect dude, I think most of us here will agree with you that MSU is much improved. I also think that most of the football intelligent country sees that as well. This IS the reason we have to totally destroy the dawgs. It could be the only way we stay top 10, and keep the voters on our side. I don't think hanging 60 on a DII team helps you much, now you do it on an SEC team, and you open some eyes. Miles owes the State of La, and I think he knows that. If he doesn't, well he could stay there and work for you guys. :thumb:
I think after the way the team played agaisnt UThug, everyone here should be hoping for a win even if by one point. A blow out would be nice. No win in college football is automatic remember UAB? Troy State? Beat your chest and crow after the game, you'll look less stupid that way.
MSU = Little offense -- pretty decent defense. Something like fourth in sec for qb sacks if I remember right. Omar is not the best qb in the sec, but if LSU gives him time and the soft coverage, he is smart enough to take it. I'll be pulling for the Tigers but they better man-up. Oh yeah.....they play four quarters in Starkville too. Plus it is a day game. Weather should not be too hot though.
I have no clue. Defense - It appeared Bo got the message at ASU that he needs to bring heat on QB's. Although he didn't stick to that message in the 2nd half of UT game. But it shows that he can maybe learn a lesson but he needs not to forget his lesson. So I feel he will make adjustments and put heat on the QB the entire game. Offense - Hopefully there is some better play calling, play action pass on 1st down and not getting 3rd and longs all the time. We should move the ball well though with conservative play calling. In all, I will be very mad and depressed if MSU puts up 400 yards on LSU and 30 points. Of course as long as we win, that is what counts but if MSU puts up 25- 30 points and 400 yards on LSU, it will be a long season. We need to win big, in a big kind of way.
