actually i know his % is good but that doesn't tell the story. He threw for 3 yards per play against us which is downright awful. He can complete all he wants and have nice completion numbers but until he can throw down the field with consistency, AU will struggle.

And no I don't my opinion wasn't baseless, it just wasnt supported. I figured even you could see that LSU's team is better coached and they have better talent.... The 2 offenses are actually about a half yard average within each other while LSU is much better defensively. Yes, this years. I can give stats but I sure as hell dont put much stock in the first 2 games even though ours are quite more significant given we actually have been tested thus far.

That being said, if JC is among the all time stat leaders at AU, I'd probably keep that to myself if I was a Chicken fan. Try to keep Bo Jackson thoughts as the legacy. remember? long ago when you actually won an SEC title outright? the good ole days.

Let's face it. Neither team has played crap yet. You can take the best 22 from all 4 opponents and not make up a decent team. Basically, both LSU and Auburn have had 2 live scrimmages each and the season starts Saturday (I hope). That said, Auburn lost a lot more than LSU did from last year. If our QBs play like they've been in a game before, Auburn's going to have a tough time. If they can shut down LSU's "O", that spells trouble for the defending champs. I expect Auburn to score 14 to 21 points. If LSU can put up more than that, it's party time in Looziana.

Auburn totally renovated their field. Removed 6 feet of soil and replaced with stat of the art drainage. The field has been covered since yesterday and Auburn has not gotten the extreme rain.

The field will not likely be muddy. If it is raining at gametime, wet is obvious. But I don't believe it would be sloppy even then.

What is the status of AB. Was it a concusion in a head to head hit or ws it a helmet to the chin that took him out.

let'snot forget about JA who looks like he did before his injury and doesn't appear very easy to tackle again. First guy ain't bringing him down.

The radio said he got stitches during the game. Nothing about a concussion has been reported, that I've heard. Not sure where the stitches were.

    1. Take the ball first.
    2. Do our best to score early.
    3. Run the ball with an emphasis on power running (Broussard).
    4. When we throw, have Russell do it.
    5. Tackle well.
    6. Don't turn the ball over.
    7. Score twenty-five points or more.
    8. Make them have to beat us.

What we need to do, considering that the field will be wet and muddy, is start out running the ball, over and over. Make the defence tired and get a pass over the middle for a score. But I expect to see a whole lot of running from both teams. I think we have this because we can stop the run, which is Auburns main point. But, we can't give away stupid plays on 3rd down. that killed us with Oregon St. TACKLE TACKLE TACKLE!

    #4 good point
#6 if they have to go 65+ yards on drives all game long, they won't score a TD on us.....totally agree
#7 probably won't be necessary (although that would be nice)
