What I "care" about is that everyone has the opportunity to be taught, as you put it. You can't "teach" someone who is unwilling to be taught. Whether a person is willing to open themselves to first hear the word and then accept it is entirely up to them. I have no control over that. If I ask to speak to you about Christianity and you refuse, it is not my responsibility to tackle you and shout the plan of salvation at you in an effort to force you to be saved. I will not be held accountable for your rejection of Jesus, I will only be held accountable if I pass up an opportunity to witness to you. The Bible states that very fact, and my life should not be consumed with "eradicating" the non-belief of everyone, only converting those who are willing. Do you think I should be trying to conquer the world and call it Christian? And I have dug no hole, I merely asked you to clarify a vague statement you made. Based on many of your other comments I felt I was justified in doing so. You never answered my questioning concerning which denomination you were. I'd like to know to get some sort of reference point as to what interpretations of the Bible you studied, or if you formed your conclusions entirely on your own.
You are probably right about that. They say if you talk to plants they may grow better. Before you know it your talking could be very productive and those vines just might cover that entire dull boring wall.
btw guys I was just joking. I enjoy watching you guys debate over this type of sh!t. I don't care much either way so I'm not nearly informed enough to participate. :thumb:
There are also billions that God is not real to. Billions of people suffering miserable things that they believe God wound't allow such things. I can also personally name several people that saved them selves from drugs and other pesky habits. The truth, I think, is that these people that were "saved by God" really saved themselves and just needed something higher to inspire them, wether it was real or not.
