Second, are you aware that every inch of Iraq is very different how it seems on your local news channel? It is HIGHLY possible that military people who may actually be in a "combat zone" have access to the internet. I don't have enough space here to describe how closed minded and ignorant your response is.

I can tell you from first hand experience that it is possible for internet connectivity to exist in a forward operating area and for the troops that are there to use that connection for morale purposes. What kind of narrow minded fool is going to say that troops who may be watching LSU games on the internet are privileged to have that much time on their hands? I guess a combat zone is a place where fighting is always taking place, 100% of the time, and the troops there need to suck it up and fight, not watch LSU games on the internet. Right?

Since we're talking about combat zones, I will go ahead and invalidate your second point as well. Troops in combat zones have both the time and the resources to get on the internet and watch football games. Just because you may have been in the military and deployed to a place that didn't have it doesn't mean that nobody ever has it. You're wrong.

And what exactly does your third point even mean? A small internet viewing fee? Last I checked most of the internet was free. You may pay for a provider, but in this case the local communications unit is the provider...so it doesn't cost the troops a thing.

You should really take the time to research what you are talking about before you say that about our troops. If they want to take time to watch a damn football game on the internet they should be able to without some armchair general like you sitting around saying they are just privileged and must not be in a combat zone.

Here's a little fact for you: I am about to spend 120 days in a combat zone. You know what I do? Communications.

but If you read before my last post in this thread. i didn't even mention that I was over there.

this guy is clearly a freaking "know it all" moron.

(and I hate to name call, but that last post was just one big outpour of emotion)

he knows NOTHING of combat. Again, he hasnt been there and doesnt know how things work in a combat zone.

You don't normally watch football games in a combat zone..

THATS WHY ITS A FREAKING COMBAT ZONE. LOL...

I really didnt want to, but I wanted to make sure people knew the truth, that in most places (especially a combat zone) there is no leisure time...

At least in my experience... Any one else here can attest to this?

But regardless, I didnt want to respond, but you can't go calling someone out when you yourself havent been there in the first place...

I would assume WWL would do so...but, they may have to take it off...I know thats how it used to be when I listened to the cardinals..If it is now pay to listen..LSU will not allow a station to stream it and they make nothing for it

I will not dog you out for being communictions, since there is no such thing as front lines anymore, however, your job is not to engage the enemy. You obviously lack any knowledge about what it is like to live the life of an infantryman (or a corpsman attached to the infantry). I can promise you, there are no computers available. Have a nice trip, wherever you a going, and don't let some rag head piece of **** crash into your convoy.
