see to me it seems that this was ordered by the chief to make sure that there is no violence or disturbance, while trampling over your first amendment rights.
I doubt he ordered anything like that, he seems pretty smart. Also what in the video leads you to believe he ordered anything?

all im trying to say is that i really don't think the president told the police of baton rouge to not let people who dispute the health care plan talk to the people who do support it.
Who said he had to be ordered to do what he did? Maybe he really likes Obama's plan and wants to illegally quiet all dissent. Or from the video it appears ACORN is running the show and he is their strong arm. No one said Obama called him on the phone and gave him orders, but he is displaying Obama/ACORN tactics.
so, that was a statement and not complete sarcasm? from my experience with police officers, not rent a cops, they usually tend to follow orders from higher ranking officers.
Absolute BS! The cop in the vid is a supervisor and probably the highest ranking on scene. The chief doesn't make every single decision every day that's why he has supervisors under him. It's pretty obvious from the vid that this cop is not enforcing the law, but is instead picking sides in a debate and using his badge to protect his side. I doubt anyone higher than himself was involved in any way and nothing in the vid points to anything different. He should be publicly reprimanded and put behind a desk.
maybe so, but do you think its because he is an obama supporter or its because he just doesn't want there to be any altercations, and have it end up on youtube. which it did anyway.
