And I'm telling you that it's too late. You took it when you threw a little hissy fit over a very mild dose of sarcasm. If that little bit set you off so badly, I, quite frankly, don't know how you've dealt with me for so long without going into a complete emotional tailspin.
third time: good luck. tell me how upset i am again and we can see if we can make it to 5 times you telling me you hurt my feelings. maybe eventually i will argue.
I think you're doing a pretty good job of convincing everyone yourself. Afterall, there's no better sign of apathy than repitiveness.
I think his whole point is and mine is: He set a goal and now future presidents and future congressmen and women have to do what is necessary. Just 5 years ago, how many hybrid cars were sold? Some bike thing that Ed Bagley Jr. had was it. Now, hybrid cars are in demand. 19 years is a long time. At this rate, in 19 years hybrid cars may be the majority of cars sold. Who knows. And if the market is there, private companies will advance the use of clean fuel technology. It will happen. But it's like the war or anything in this world....people expect it to happen in 2 weeks or NOW!!!! We all want everything NOW!!!!! People need to settle down and understand that this stuff takes time.
I believe you are correct. This is very similar to his policy of creating an unprecedented National Debt and leaving it for future presidents and future congressmen and future citizens to pay for.
