Elmer's? or did someone in your family make it? I've never had Strawberry. Interesting. I cant stop eating Cadbury Mini Eggs! Damn you Target and your 1/2 off Easter Candy sale!
You can have mine! Bama and I fight over the Reeces eggs though. I had donut holes for breakfast. :thumb:
Anybody who has met me personally knows that I have a bit of a sweet tooth. So, I am in the store today and I see Betty Crocker makes an individual molten chocolate lava cake. Alls you gotta do is add water and put it in the microwave. Has anyone tried these? Are they any good. The one from Chili's is awesome. I am wondering if these are worth the $2. Help me, Hungry on the Northshore
i got some for my mil since she lives alone and sometimes likes a little something sweet. but i dont have a report on how they are. sorry. but now i am craving chocolate.
I can't tell you if they are any good or not either, but I do have a really quick and easy recipe for chocolate lava cakes I can share. I have some glass custard cups that come with plastic lids that I make them up in. That way I can cook one right away and put the lid on the rest and keep them in the fridge a day or two before cooking. This will make 2 cakes: 2 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate 1/2 a stick of butter (1/4 cup) --> microwave for a minute and wisk until all melted stir in: 1/2 c. powdered sugar stir in: 1 egg 1 egg yolk stir in: 3 Tbs. flour Pour into buttered custard cups. I use a good spoonful of butter and wipe it all around the inside of the custard cups to really coat the whole surface (I can see the film of butter on the glass), and I never have any trouble getting the cakes to fall out. Bake 14 min. at 425. I serve mine right away with thawed frozen strawberries (helps counter the temp.) and cool whip. I bet raspberries would be good too!
I don't know about the lava cake, but the chocolate chip cookie dessert pack like that is pretty good.
