Who will do Fox's pregame with what's his name and Johnson? They had a guest host each game from one of the teams ... Tarkenton (UGA), Switzer (OU), and Riggins (KU).
A horrible reminder for how bad this crew is/has been. Chris Rose (?) from BDSS is not ready for prime time IMO and I just can't stand JJ. His hair might actually be as annoying as Donald Trump's.
I thought Riggins was pretty good last night, but agree overall the Fox crew is mostly NFL guys trying to do college. I REALLY liked Bradshaw at the Sugar bowl last year, he was funny. Why am I worried, I will be in the dome listening to my drunk buddy comentate the game. :thumb:
I don't mind Johnson, guess I'm use to him on the NFL pregame show. But you would think they could find some people who knew a little bit about the college game. And I don't like how they cut to commercials after a kickoff or during a challenge, like they do with NFL games. The college game is long enough.
What he said. This is an ESPN thang. Fox doesn't do it which is fine with me because 90% of the time you miss the freakin' play while it's going on and on and on...
I think the reason Fox announcer suck is that nobody is familiar with them, we're to seeing Patrick and Blackledge, Lundquist and Danielson, Musberger and Herbie, Nessler, Griese and McGuire, etc...Maybe that's why we think they suck....Then again, maybe they just suck. PS- JJ is not just an NFL guy.
