Invading Russia in the wintertime was not a real good idea. Didn't work for Napolean and it didn't work for Hitler.

Actually he invaded in June, which did not leave enough time to achieve his ever changing objectives by the onset of frigid weather.

His June invasion was planned for May but delayed by British resistance. Had England fallen Hitter would had more assets to throw at Russia. Russia would have had less to defend itself with as a critical supply line would have been broken.
Also the middle eastern oil would be German a key to their war machine. The US would have been isolated. There is always room to debate what ifs. However one thing is certain Churchill’s leadership was a key to the allies.

I detest Trump. He has no redeeming features. He has zero integrity, essentially a con man to whom the truth has no meaning.. Trump is the poster child for the real estate film flam artist. He is focused on the next deal, at the expense of EVERYTHING else.

He may know real estate, and even taxes, but he lacks intelligence and breadth of thought or philosophy. His vocabulary is 6th - 8th grade level. It is embarrassing hearing him say “beautiful” over and over again. His lack of vocabulary/intellect leads to outrageous statements crafted with the very limited tools at his disposal.

His insistence on “tweeting” may get his feelings out there, but the really screw up any kind of broader diplomatic policy. A disgrace.

On or at a “gut” level, I agree with a fairly good percentage of what he says/thinks. Unfortunately he lacks the communication skills, the intellect, or character to translate thought into a cohesive national policy.

Having said all this, I put the responsibility for this disgraceful president at the feet of the DNC and it’s misguided insistence of putting forth the incredibly flawed candidate, Hillary Clinton. Without Clinton we would be without Trump.

I know Churchill did all that but that was a different time and the world dynamics. Churchill was a great man. And as usual you purposely misquote me to make your point. Where did I say Trump was a Churchill? In fact copied and pasted my quote below in red so maybe possible you just might get it right this time.

"Trump is no Chruchill so far but Chruchill was trust into a moment in history that brought out his true chracter. Until Trump is thrust into something similar how can we judge him?"

My point is you are the one insulting Churchill by even mentioning Obama. Obama doesn't love or even like this country and as far as I am concerned is a muslim sympathizer and an apologist for his percieved evil deeds by America. Churchill loved England just as Trump loves his country. Also how can we judge Trump or any other leader against Churchill until they are put in a similar position, isn't that a reasonable question? Dont give me this crap that Trump came from wealth so he couldn't possible be a great leader. You, nor me nor anyone else can say that with certainty at all. However I have no doubt that had Trump been in Chruchills position he would not back down and fight to the very end to win, fighting and winning is in his nature from what I see so far.

You know nothing. Any candidate the left can put forward these days would further drag this great country to a socialists marxist state. You would trade eloquence in speaking and slick political skills for the slow destruction of our freedoms and constitutional rights. So you are embarrassed over him saying beautiful over and over again ugh? Poor baby must be so tough and embarrassing for your litttle precious ego. Would you replace that with "let me be clear" Obama or "I feel your pain" Bill or "I can't recall" Hillary? Whats embarrassing is a guy your age who has learned nothing over your lifetime. I would take Boudreaux's unwashed uneducated brother who lives out in the Atchafalaya as president over any democrat as president today. Hitler was a great skillful politician with fabulous oratory command and talked his country into genocide and world war. Slick politicians like slick evangelist (remember Jimmy Swaggert?) can con and fool masses and be bad and even evil in real life.

I will take a crude unskilled politician like Trump or Boudreaux any day over any candidate you would support.

I'm not very sensitive so I'm not offended by Trump's idiosyncrasies. He has stopped America from being steam-rolled into socialism, and I do like that.
