What is your "Crack" Food?

    My mom is making crawfish pies when I come home tomorrow for spring break. That has to go on the list.

    And Cheez-it's. I love those things.

    Stop in Natchitoches on the way and bring her some meat pies from Lasyones.

    That would entail actually driving into Nachitoches. That is our one and only stop on the way to Baton Rouge from Dallas, but we just stop for gas, McDonald's, and then hit the road again. My daughters always look to see how quickly we can accomplish all of that.

    But...a lady in my Bunko group was a Lasyone once upon a time. She makes a great crawfish and corn soup.

    Then gas up at the convenience store in front of the Comfort Suites, I forget the name. But they have a large deli/lunch-counter/bakery and they usually have meat pies. Not Lasyones, but you can't get away with bad meat pies in Natchitoches.

    I don't suppose that you are going to stop at Leas in Lecompte and bring her a cherry pie either . . .

    My great grandmother was a Lasyone.
