God bless Jim. He bleeds purple and gold, but can't call football play-by-play to save his life.

One of my favorite Hawthorne liners: the wobbly spiral. What the hell is that?

This is of zero importance, but it made me laugh listening to a replay on the way home from the game, Hawthorne gave credit to the "Golden Badger" for the third quarter interception. I LOLed, I didnt roflma, just LOLed. He's trying.

Y'all need to listen to UL's announcer for their games, then you will be much more appreciative of Mr. Hawthorne.

I never knew this happened. That is soo lame. What makes it even more so is that Hunt never played on offense. How could he have made that mistake? Either way, he has to know that his original gaffe is there forever, no matter if he dubs over it or not. You gotta own that.

I realize Hawthorne is the iconic voice of the Tigers, but it's just painful listening to him on the radio. I'd ALMOST rather listen to Lundquist and Danielson. (Ok, not really but you get where I'm going). Plus, he's always interrupting Doug Moreau.

Do you think it's (past) time to put him to pasture and find another 'voice of the Tigers'?

I heard that too. I didn't laugh; I just kind of rolled my eyes because it's so typical.
