No reason to redshirt jefferson... use his running skills... let him get some experience then next year go with him or Lee with Shepard coming in to be the change of pace...

Waiting for someone to flame this, but it doesn't look like it will happen. :hihi: Maybe because it's correct.

It is correct. Let me put this in perspective for you.

Here is how I see these two guys.

A step behind Randall. and Lee is a step behind Hatch

We are moving in the extreme wrong direction here.

Just meant talent wise at the QB position.

Definitely didn't meant the entire team.

Lee & Jefferson have talent, they're just young & inexperienced.

Hatch doesn't have a whole lot of talent, but he is a substantially better game manager than Randall.

Jefferson was not included because we havent seen enough of him.

Lee has not shown much talent to us other than a pretty good arm. His accuracy has been horrible, decision making horrible. I hope he gets better, we need him, but what he was able to do in high school is irrelevent now, so we have only seen suppar play.

Hatch, while not that impressive, has looked miles ahead of Lee. but has absolutely no arm at all which limits what we can do with him in the game.

If there was ever a year where coaching will have to win football games for us, this is it. Go Crowton!

My guess is that Miles is hoping he's ready to take over at some point this season. Hatch and Lee are stop gaps. I'm really disappointed in Lee.

That dago QB and his receivers are pretty good.

If you're in the game for just one play you lose your redshirt.

Don't know why everyone is surprised with the play of the two quarterbacks. When is the last time LSU started a QB with only 1 season in the system? Jefferson has even less time here. Don't think he will be the answer, but I guess you have to give him a shot and get him ready for next year.
