    You got it Kyle,

    Oregon Track Coach Bill Bowerman ruined his wife's waffle iron, making these rubber waffles, at his ranch near Eugene. Used in making the prototypes for Nike's waffle sole running shoes.

    Bowerman, along with his former track student Phil Knight, founded Nike. Nike's corporate offices are near Portland, in Beaverton Oregon.
