    The swivels are similar on both clamps.

    Damn, that clue had to be blatantly obvious. :p

    Well .. I"m gonna have to say, I have several C clamps .. and the ends don't look like that. Those must be some cheap azz C-clamps. All of mine have a solid end mounted on a ball joint looking doohicky. :D
