That looks kinda like a carterizing device for dehorning cattle or goats. Seems I remember seeing something like that back in ag.
Actually IS used to disbud goats. Have to catch them early and before buttons are too big. I used to HATE doing that. Most of the time I would have a friend do mine.
I guess that's close enough .. I don't know how picky you guys are on this thread. They are sway bar quick disconnects used in offroading. I have these on my Jeep when I go rock crawling, it allows you to keep your wheels in connection with the ground.
The poster of the object is the sole judge! Did a little research on sway bar quick disconnects. Very cool. Not many big rocks in south La. though. OK, here is my next entry. Again, I am predicting Tiga to get this one. That should give everyone a clue. Hopefully this will make it more than a guess or two This is a tool that has been in use for over a hundred years and is still sold today.
