    It is for a type of gas, but not like propane, or natural gas.

    She must be talking about freon or O2 or something like that. AC compressor part perhaps...sh*t idk.

    The gas is freon and it does work with an A/C compressor. What is it called?

    Ok, it has a control, so it is some type of valve, the coil and tank don't seem to connect to anything, just adding length.

    I'm going with expansion valve.
