    I know right, I was waiting for @gynojunkie to post a picture of one of those hoo hoo opener uppers, you know the sideways duck bills that spring open so you can get your arm up in there.

    I have an electrolytic pool chlorinator with flat plates that looks something like that.

    But, no. Not a chlorinator, but maybe a water splitter?

    Is it an electrode for a de-salination unit?
