Kyle, the main purpose of that exercise was to find someone to take me water skiing. Your knowledge on the subject leads me to believe you own a ski boat.
The Popinator could go anywhere......but noone wakeboards behind a boat with dual outboards. I suck at this thread and I try harder than you know to figure these things out....
Awesome tactic! I do own a boat we ski with. Nothing so grand as a purpose built ski boat though. Ours is a 19' Larson I/O. I had it up for sale in Texas this summer at a friend's lot. They had a huge drought and it just sat there. Gonna go pick it up before winter sets in. It kinda pissed me off that he didn't sell it (he promised it would be easy) because the kids could have been using it all summer.
My family has owned a lake house northwest of Austin on Inks Lake for 30 years and we also have a 19' Larson I/O up there. I don't get up there too often (once in the past 5-6 years) but I used to wakeboard all the time. Life has gotten in the way lately but I'm going to make an effort to hit the water next summer.
Lake Travis in Austin is awesome. We used to hang out at a place called 'Devil's Cove' when I lived in Austin. HUGE party every weekend.
